Blue Water Marine has been appointed the Fairline dealer for Wales and the North of England. ‘Fairline Wales’ will be run from the Power Boat Centre site at Pwllheli Marina and plans are underway for an extension to the front of the Showroom for further sales offices and customer lounge.

“STRENGTH AND STAMINA” PROGRAM PAYS OFF WITH INCREASED PRODUCTION AND HIRING OF NEW EMPLOYEES.
Nashville, Georgia – April 1, 2010…Encouraged by excellent results from early season boat shows worldwide, Chaparral Boats has increased its employee headcount during 2010 by more than 120 and increased production approximately 200 percent compared to the end of 2009 to meet the surging demand for its sport boats, tow boats and cruisers.
“Last year we launched a “Strength and Stamina…Now and For the Future” program that capitalized on Chaparral’s financial strength and proven track record to support our worldwide dealer network,” said Chaparral president Jim Lane. “During the last year, we faced one of the most difficult times in the history of the marine industry. Backing our dealers with cost-saving rebates, unprecedented factory support, premier customer service and award winning new product development has more than paid off. The results speak for themselves.”
“Chaparral is on the move,” continued Lane. “We decided early on that ensuring the health of our dealer network was vital and our commitment has certainly paid off. We have invested heavily in new product development because we feel that “NEW” sells. Including three exciting new models ready for release in 2011, Chaparral has introduced a total of 19 new models in the last four years.”
Barmouth Chippy Run!

The ‘Chippy Run’ as it grew to be known, was a regular trip a few years back with up to 20 boats making the relativley short journey over to Barmouth for a couple of drinks and fish and chips. Barmouth is only 16 miles from Pwllheli as the crow flies, but the entrance to the harbour can be a little tricky and you have to get the tides right.

“I never get to go to a posh do” someone uttered back in May. It was then that the seed was sown, and in a matter of days the 4 people in the room at that time had decided to hold a Summer Ball. The team as they are called are Janice Harrison, Lisa Bridgett, Nikki Tersch and Nicola Williams. The committee was formed, and work got underway.
London Boat Show 2007

The 2007 London International Boat Show, opened on the 5th of january boasting a new image, and making it more interactive for the visitor. The layout had also changed, and so too our stand, which now had 2 open sides. We exhibited the CHAPARRAL 215 SSi cuddy cabin, the all new for 2007 236 and 256 SSx, the UK debut of the 275 SSi and the Signature 280, now fitted with the Volvo Penta D3 Diesels.
